OVERVIEW

We’re excited to invite you to join our team as Marketing Director at 1UP USA. As a key leader in our midsized, fast-moving outdoor company, you’ll own cross-department initiatives—partnering with product, sales, and customer success—to advance both your career and our business goals. We’re based in the Driftless Area of Wisconsin, surrounded by endless outdoor recreational activities—perfect for hiking, paddling, biking, and exploring between projects. With minimal corporate red tape, you’ll have the autonomy to experiment, move quickly, and make a visible impact on our brand. Responsibilities:

  • Construct, execute, and help maintain marketing budget
  • Evaluate and adapt company marketing plan
  • Track the effectiveness of content to support marketing communication objectives
  • Analyze traffic and conversion data
  • Analyze marketing performance (ROAS, CAC, LTV) and generate reports
  • Provide copywriting and editing as needed for all marketing areas 
  • Support company goals to improve brand consistency and awareness 
  • Build and maintain the media portfolio for all PR initiates and outreaches
  • Develop and adapt new marketing strategies
  • Continue to brainstorm fresh ideas and goals to adapt with company’s goals
  • Help schedule and attend events associated within industry (1-3 / year)
  • Provide feedback and ideas to Engineering for growth potentials
  • Identify and monitor competitors
  • Develop and adapt new product launch strategies
  • Identify new potential markets and a plan to enter
  • Mentor and train new hires associated to the department 

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field with 5-10 years’ work experience
  • Oral and written English literacy required
  • Proficiency in MS Office (MS Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel, etc.)
  • Familiarity with Point-of-Sale Systems

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self driven and organized
  • An entrepreneurial spirit is a plus
