What rack will fit my vehicle?Updated 3 months ago
1UP USA bike rack models are not specific to vehicles. Our hitch mounted rack models will fit a 1.25", 2", or 2.5" standard receiver tube. Our hitch mounted racks have a tilting feature for a storage position should you want to keep the rack on when not in use. They also have a down position to allow better access to the back of a vehicle.
Each rack has a fitment diagram that gives dimensions of the rack in the hitch. Please see the fitment diagram to confirm how each rack would fit your vehicle.
For vehicles with spare tires or bumpers that extend past the end of the receiver more than 3", you can use a hitch extender or rise/drop receiver to gain clearance. Please check tongue rating of vehicle for this application.
A hitch bar lock is included with each rack. For 2 or 2.5" racks that use our slotted hitch bar lock, the lock has a usable length of 3". If your receiver tube is wider, you can use a different length pin. If you have limited access to the side of your receiver tube, we have an alternate side entry lock.
We also carry roof racks that can be mounted to a variety of crossbars. To confirm what hardware you would need, see our hardware sizing.
Roof racks also offer the versatility to be converted to a hitch mounted rack, if desired. Parts used to convert would include the hitch assembly, add-on frame, and mounting hardware.
